1. General information
The general objective of the Practicum is to transmit to the student the way of working in psychology in a labour context , the planning, development and evaluation of interventions with users, teamwork and coordination with other entities and resources that serve the same users. In this sense, the subject will also constitute a framework where students will have the opportunity to consolidate all the knowledge acquired in the other subjects throughout the degree.
These approaches and goals are aligned with the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations Agenda 2030 (https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/es/), such that the acquisition of the subject learning results provides training and competence to contribute to some extent to their achievement:
REQUIREMENTS TO TAKE IT:

To have passed and recognized in September 180 ECTS (150 ECTS of Basic and Compulsory Training + 30 elective ECTS).

To have passed and recognized in February 180 ECTS (150 ECTS of Basic and Compulsory Training + 30 elective ECTS).
Students must behave in a manner appropriate to the professional situation in which they find themselves and comply with the indications of the deontological code of the Psychology professional, especially with regard to the confidentiality of the data of users and workers of the center.
2. Learning results

Recognizes and critically values the contributions provided by scientific research and theoretical knowledge acquired in the degree to the observed professional practice.

Recognizes and critically evaluates the methodological foundations acquired in the Degree in the observed professional practice

Knows the legal framework that regulates professional practice and conforms to the ethical principles and code of ethics of psychology

Assesses the needs of one or more users, designs a specific intervention, implements the intervention and evaluates the results, within the possibilities offered by the practice center.

Understands and is able to prepare written and oral reports.
3. Syllabus
PHASE I: First phase of the position selection
PHASE II: Second phase of the position selection process

First week of February. Publication in Moodle of: center information sheets, list of available positions by center and list of students ordered by academic record.

Second week of February. Final public election of the position. Publication of the definitive position lists. Formalization of the individual internship agreement at Universa.
PHASE III: development of the practicum

Mid-February. Introductory seminar.

February to June. Development of the internships.
-
End of June. Delivery of the practicum report and student evaluation questionnaires to the academic tutor.

First half of July: Practicum evaluation.

4. Academic activities
Introductory seminar on internships
Attendance at the internship center:
- observation and accompaniment of the professional
- execution of tasks.
Self-directed activities:
- information search,
- deepening of case studies,
- design and preparation of assessment and intervention materials.
Attendance to tutorial with the academic tutor
Preparation of the Internship Report.

5. Assessment system

Notes:
* Attendance to the Introductory Seminar and to the Center (240 hours of attendance) is compulsory and its non-compliance, not justified to the Internship Commission of the Degree, will be a direct cause of failure in the subject
* In order to pass the subject, students, in addition to having complied with the compulsory attendance previously mentioned, must have obtained at least a 5 in the evaluation carried out by their professional tutor and another 5 in the evaluation carried out by their academic tutor.
